Shannen Doherty, actress known for her roles in ‘Beverly Hills, 90210‘ and ‘Charmed’, revealed on her podcast ‘Let’s Be Clear’ that she is preparing for her departure amid advanced cancer.

At just 52 years old, she shared her decision to donate and sell all her belongings to make life easier for her mother when she passes away. The actress expressed that her priority is to ensure a smooth transition for her mother and relieve any future burden that may be placed on her.

Doherty explained that her journey included a difficult trip to Tennessee to organize and pack her belongings, including the property where she planned to build a sanctuary for elderly or sick horses.

Although it has been emotionally challenging, she realized that selling the property was the right decision, allowing her to continue living her dream of helping horses through rescue.

By getting rid of her possessions, Shannen explained that she feels she is opening space to create new memories with the people she loves, especially with her mother. She sees this change as an opportunity to travel and enjoy life, ensuring that those around her are well taken care of when she is gone.

Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and went into remission in 2017 after chemotherapy, but the cancer returned as stage 4 in 2019. Last year, she revealed that her cancer had metastasized, first spreading to the brain and then to the bones.
